Tippi – ‘It’s A Phase’ (2002)

Tippi (Yvonne Tipping) is from Glasgow and this is her second single, released on her own label in 2002. Her previous single was a take on The Blue Nile classic, Tinseltown In The Rain, but neither that, nor this second effort, were to appear on her self-titled debut album, which arrived in 2004, preceded by a third and final single, Boy. She’s since fronted an all female rock band, The Hedrons and more recently, she lectures in music at New College Lanarkshire, as well as performing with Hue And Cry’s live touring band.
