This release, Asian Rockers, marks the start of a creative collaboration between CounterAction and The Dub Factory.
Asian Rockers is an anthem for every Asian conscious sound system dub rocker out there and beyond and features the sweet voice of Parvez recounting what is essentially his own story and position in the roots sound system scene.. It’s a position which many Asian roots youth in the UK can relate to. The dub version starts with a traditional Indian song improvisation otherwise know as “alap” that is literally hair raising!
