🇫🇷. Tetra Hydro K, c’est un laboratoire sonore dans lequel deux alchimistes du dub expérimentent de multiples sonorités pour s’inscrire durablement sur la scène électro-dub française. Le duo de producteurs revient cette année avec un nouvel album intitulé « Odyssée ».

Issus respectivement de l’univers de la free party et du trip-hop, leurs inspirations prennent source chez les ténors du dub tel High Tone, Improvisator Dub ou encore Kaly Live Dub. Kanay s’attèle à créer une rythmique implacable tandis que Krilong apporte son génie mélodique au saxophone. Électronique ? Acoustique ? Dub ? Drum’n’Bass ? Tetra Hydro K se concentre sur la combinaison d’éléments organiques dans un univers électronique. Après 4 EPs depuis 2010, le groupe a décidé d’évoluer en 2016 avec un premier album « Labotomie ». S’en suivront 2 autres albums en 2017 et 2018 puis la saison 1 des désormais fameuses « Smoking Sessions » l’année dernière.

Avec ce nouvel album « Odyssée », THK marque avec justesse son empreinte dans le paysage dub français. Ils ont fait de leur passion une expérimentation grandeur nature, une grande diversification des genres et influences musicales que l’on retrouve au travers de nombreux invités.

Après avoir dévoilé « Cut to the Chase » aux coté de Tom Spirals, Tetra Hydro K annonce la sortie de leur prochain album avec ce nouveau single intitulé « Black Ship ». Le duo signe une instrumentale soignée dont la ligne de basse varie au rythme d’un dub sombre et profond. « Black Ship », c’est une odyssée psychédélique dont l’ambiance pesante nous transporte dans un monde à part.

🇬🇧 Tetra Hydro K is a laboratory in which two dub alchemists are experimenting with multiple sounds to mark their imprint on the French electro-dub scene. The duo of producers returns this year with a new album “Odyssée”.

Coming respectively from the free party and trip-hop universe, they took their inspirations from French dub tenors such as High Tone, Improvisator Dub or Kaly Live Dub. Kanay creates a strong rhythm while Krilong brings his melodic genius with his saxophone. Electronic? Acoustic? Dub? Drum’n’Bass? Tetra Hydro K focuses on the combination of organic elements in an electronic universe. After 4 EPs since 2010, the band decided to evolve in 2016 with a first album “Labotomie”. It was followed by 2 albums in 2017 and 2018 and season 1 of the amazing “Smoking Sessions” last year.

With this new album “Odyssée”, THK rightly marks its stamp on the French dub landscape. They turned their passion in a life-size experimentation, a great diversification of the genres and musical influences that shines through various guests.

After having released the track “Cut to the Chase” with Tom Spirals, Tetra Hydro K announces their upcoming album with a new single : “Black Ship”.
The duo signs a clean instrumental wich bass line follow the rhythm of a dark and deep dub. “Black Ship” is a psychedelic odyssey with a heavy atmosphere that transports us into a different world.
