RICO – 2 tracks from Warrika Dub – reggae dub roots
Warrika Dub is the dub album of Rico Rodriguez’ famous Man From Wareka LP. Originally released in a very small “white label” quantity in 1977 it was not before 2004 that Island Japan re-released an “official” version while now and then bootlegs appeared earlier on the market. It was again re-issued as a limited edition copy of the original record, on Ghetto Rockers with a similar plain cover in 2009
This is the original 1977 white label on Ghetto Rockers Pre – LP1 with original hand writing.
Here are two tracks from it, while not named on the originally white label, were later described on the Island release as Gunga Din Dub and Africa Dub.
