🇫🇷 C’est à l’ère du confinement que la connexion se fait virtuellement entre Bazbaz et Manudigital.
Bazbaz présente un mélange personnel de chanson à base de blues, de reggae, et de rock. Son ton détaché, ses textes au parfum doux-amer et son amour des femmes rendent ses chansons particulièrement attachantes. Beatmaker et bassiste spécialisé dans le Reggae digital, Manudigital s’est imposé au fil des années comme un producteur incontournable sur la scène internationale, collaborant avec une pléiade d’artistes et développant de nombreux concepts vidéo à travers le monde.
C’est ainsi que, d’une rencontre virtuelle sur Instagram en mode confinade, va naître un EP bien réel : #LoveBordel. Un projet commun entre Bazbaz et Manudigital.
“En gros reggae addict ça fait un moment que je kiffe le son de Manudigital. Et sa formule digital session me fait délirer, se mettre avec un p’tit clavier sur les genoux dans les rues de Kingston, New York ou les trottoirs de Manille et faire chanter des mecs incroyables live and direct, il faut avoir des… couilles !” nous dit Bazbaz.
De leur respect mutuel va naître instantanément l’idée de faire des chansons ensemble. Sans se connaître, sans jamais se rencontrer, pour cause de confinement, les deux musiciens commencent à composer 7 titres qu’ils enregistreront en quelques mois, auxquels viendront s’ajouter 2 versions dub savamment concoctées par Manudigital. “Que du kiffe” disent-ils en chœur !
#LoveBordel c’est un subtil mélange de leur deux univers, une rencontre entre la chanson française et le dub pour un résultat, chaud, planant et sexy qu’ils ont hâtes de vous faire découvrir !

🇬🇧 Bazbaz and Manudigital digitally met during lockdown.
Bazbaz is a French singer who presents a personal mix of songs based on blues, reggae, and rock. His detached tone, his lyrics with a bittersweet scent and his love for women make his songs particularly endearing. Beatmaker and bassist specializing in digital Reggae, Manudigital became a major producer on the international scene over the years by collaborating with numerous artists and developing various video concepts around the world.
This is how, from a virtual meeting on Instagram in lockdown mode, a very real EP came to life: #LoveBordel. A joint project between Bazbaz and Manudigital.
“Being a true reggae addict, I’ve been enjoying the sound of Manudigital for a while now. I love his digital session formula, to put on a little keyboard on your knees in the streets of Kingston, New York or the sidewalks of Manila and make incredible guys sing live and direct, you have to have … balls!” Bazbaz tells us.
From their mutual respect, the idea of creating songs together has born instantly. Without knowing each other, without ever meeting, due to lockdown, the two musicians begin to compose 7 tracks that they will record in a few months, to which will be added 2 dub versions by Manudigital. “So much fun!” they say in chorus!
#LoveBordel is a subtle blend of their two worlds, a meeting between French chanson and dub for a chill, hot and sexy result, they can’t wait to share!
With their new song “En Laisse”, Bazbaz and Manudigital take us in the middle of a romantic relationship which is about to explode. On a yet joyful riddim that ends with a warm organ solo, crooner Bazbaz is slowly dying and realizes that the time has come for him to leave.
