Urban Dub by DX1 is the first video to be released by Cruise digital, the track has been taken from the album Dubwise EP 1/2 made especially for the sound systems playing good Reggae Roots dub music.

Urban Dub’ with its wash of urban night sounds, including distant sirens, and abstract vocal and keyboard interjections set over a driving bass line and syncopated drum pattern evokes an edgy nocturnal car ride through the city.

This track takes it’s inspiration from many of the Jamaica & UK producers, bands and singers from the world of great Reggae music, names such as King Tubby, Lee Perry, Bunny Striker Lee, Jack Ruby, Coxsone Dodd Studio One, Sly & Robbie, Dennis Bovell, Aswad, Joseph Hookim (Channel One), Adrian Sherwood, Scientist, Lloyd Coxsone, Agustus Pablo, Mad Professor, Joe Gibbs, Lloyd F Campbell, Errol T, Gussie Clarke, Jah Shaka, Dennis Brown, Mighty Diamonds, Niney The Observer and Dubmatix to name but a few.
