“Malaap was on Cheltenham Road and Dr Gaffa from Armageddeon Sounds ran a fortnightly event called Club Dub (a spin on the hugely popular Dub Club in London). Digistep and I attended some killer sessions there. Local selectors were on rotation but occasionally you’d get a special guest from out of town. Highlights were a Blakamix Special and a full Mad Professor dub show in the mid nineties. This was a great place for the Bristol Roots community to link up.
This dub, run by Aba Shanti on dubplate is one of the few steppas tracks on the album”
