Better known as the Crepe Souls and particularly for their catchy “Mr. Big Stuff”. Unfortunately this male vocal group gathering released only a handful of 45’s this one before you being the best of their 4 early 70’s offerings, and one of the very rare Ackee label releases.
“The World Gonna Be A Better Place” showcases perfectly the silky smooth harmonies this group are at ease with. But the real “value side is hidden away on the flip. A Herman Chin-Loy creation, this prolific producer again crafts an imaginative dance instrumental/chant showered with all the components to captivate the dancer. Echoing calls mingle with spaceship and alien sound effects, whipping up a futuristic atmosphere. A unique production, a stand apart arrangement of real quality and sharp invention.
A strong two sider, seldom seen in such clean condition.
