Alpha & Omega return to ZamZam with four previously unreleased dubplate mixes of in-demand A&O classics. This collection showcases two distinct sides of early A&O: the storming (Respect To The Warrior from 1992’s Watch And Pray LP, and Ancient Wisdom from 1994’s Safe In The Ark LP) and the meditative (Conscious Woman Dub and Dub Mightier Than The Sword from 1992’s Overstanding LP). All the elements that have made A&O UK dub royalty are on display here: massive basslines, stoic steppers drums, spectral melodies, shards of vocals, and hands-on-desk dubwise effects deployed peerlessly.
ZamZam’s first double-pack is housed in a beautiful hand screen printed dub-folder worthy of the timeless collection it houses.
