Having enjoyed huge success on the UK rave scene in the early 1990’s, the track was finally due for a UK release by RCA in 1995, however according to Neil Rumney (in an interview with Back To The Old Skool), RCA pulled the official release in the last week – despite pre-sales to take it Top 5 in the UK charts – as it coincided with the Baby D cover of the same track. A few copies of the vinyl issue leaked out: NRG* – Need Your Loving (Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime), but only a couple of copies of the official CD single: N-R-G* – Need Your Loving.
